Experience hatching and raising baby chicks with our Rent an Incubator and Rent a Chick programs! Keep reading to learn about each program and how it works!

Rent a Chick program: $30

Children will receive 3 chicks to “foster” for up to 3 weeks. All necessary supplies and instructions will be included.

After 3 weeks (or sooner if you like) bring the chicks back to our farm where they will finish growing.

Children’s educational experience will be rounded off with a trip to the henhouse to gather eggs from our flock for eating. A family may take home any of the eggs gathered at this time. (if this experience is desired, please make note of it when setting the time to return chicks),

Rent an Incubator program: $100

You’ll receive everything needed to experience incubating and hatching up to 9 chicks!

You’ll also receive videos with step-by-step info on incubating, candling, and hatching.

Both Incubate and Raise chicks: $100

If you wish to keep and raise the chicks for up to 3 weeks after hatching (the original rent-a-chick program), you’ll also take home the brooder and everything necessary for raising chicks for 3 weeks.

Incubate and hatch only: $100
Incubate, hatch, and keep 3-4 chicks to love on for 3 weeks: $100

After the chicks are all returned, your children’s educational experience will be rounded off with a trip to the henhouse to gather eggs from our flock for eating. A family may take home any of the eggs gathered at this time. *Important! When you schedule to return the equipment with me, you’ll need to mention that you want the farm tour, so I can arrange the extra time needed for that.
